Long known in the Valley as a hot spot for great breakfasts, Daily Dose’s Midtown location has expanded its offerings to include dinner, and with it, a new must visit dining destination. With a focus on made-from-scratch food, it’s easy to see the commitment to quality and taste on display in every dish.
With a menu featuring burgers, salads and (of course) breakfast, everyone in your party is guaranteed to find something that suits them. Their Starters menu has a good range of choices. We had the Buffalo Chicken Dip and it was a perfect start to the delicious meal that was yet to arrive. With just the right amount of heat, the balance of flavors was perfect. The Starters menu features other great choices, such as Turkey Meatballs and Crispy Blue Crab Cakes, many of which are on the Happy Hour menu.
For the main courses, from burgers and sandwiches to their specialties, there’s a lot of fantastic choices to choose from. We tried the T.B.L.T. (turkey bacon lettuce and tomato) and the Smoky BBQ Burger and wow. Just amazing all around. These have quickly become some our favorite meals in the valley.
While one wouldn’t normally think of a place known for great breakfasts to also be able to do great barbeque, but the Roasted Baby Back Ribs are a true standout. Served with their house made root beer BBQ sauce (it’s as good as it sounds), these are some of the best ribs around.
And of course, with them being known for their breakfasts, Daily Dose has some great breakfast options for dinner. We tried the Two Eggs and Cake, and were glad we did. Served with cinnamon roll pancakes, eggs and bacon cooked to order and fresh berries, this dish highlights the restaurants commitment to quality. And if you’d prefer a different breakfast for dinner, there is a good range of other options, including biscuits and gravy, a tempeh burrito and a steak and potato bowl to name a few.
