Good news for valley dog lovers! PHX Beer Co.’s Scottsdale location is now more dog-friendly than ever. The local restaurant and brewery added an entire menu—for man’s best friend. A new dog menu recently launched and is available on the puppy-friendly patio. The lakefront property is the perfect spot to safely distance with your dog. Dog-friendly menu items include an 8-ounce grass-fed burger for $8, a grilled chicken breast for $5 and a bowl of water, on the house.
“You really can’t get a better view than when you are sitting lakeside on our patio so it seemed like a no brainer to encourage people to come and enjoy it safely, with their dogs,” said Director of Operations Hospitality, Rich Stark. “We also started selling our own dog bones in a partnership with locally owned canine bakery, Smelly Dog, that provides hotel, grooming and other services.”
The PB Brew Bones are sold as single 3-ounce dog bones or as a pack of 18 bones. A portion of proceeds from every purchase of the bones goes to local nonprofit Arizona Small Dog Rescue.
The 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter is made up of a group of volunteers that have dedicated their lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs. Arizona Small Dog Rescue spays and neuters, vaccinates, and medically examines all dogs that come into their rescue.
“It’s important to us to partner with organizations we make a difference in the community,” said Stark. “We are happy to help raise money and partner with Arizona Small Dog Rescue.”
The ingredients are all pup friendly and include brewers spent grain, whole wheat flour, peanut butter and eggs. The bones are available at PHX Beer Co.’s Scottsdale location (8300 N. Hayden Road) and its taproom located in downtown Phoenix (3002 E. Washington Street), as well as Smelly Dog (5739 N. 7th Street).
People can also order crowlers, growlers, and other signature dishes either to-go or dine in at the restaurant. PHX Beer Co. has its own taproom and brewery in Phoenix that is located at 3002 E. Washington St. People can also purchase the PB Brew Bones at the taproom. Locally owned, PHX Beer Co. canned beers are also available at Whole Foods, Total Wine & More and BevMo.
