As restaurants start to reopen, Lovecraft Ale House is eager to welcome diners back. Having had to adjust to the COVID-19 situation with curbside pickup, Lovecraft has opened their doors, and their taps, for neighbors. Located at 32nd Street and Cactus in North Phoenix, Lovecraft provides the area with a much needed destination for locals.
Featuring a diverse menu, you’re bound to find something to satisfy your cravings. Using the smoker from the previous location owners, and combining it with authentic New Mexican cuisine, Lovecraft delivers a great mix of Texas slow-cooked meat with the spicy deliciousness of New Mexico. And it is fantastic.
We enjoyed a sampling of their street tacos and their sliders, and each one was better than the next. From their Frito sliders to their Lovecraft taco, each meal was flavorful and satisfying. In addition to sliders and tacos (I know, what more could anyone want?) there are also fantastic other options, sure to please everyone. And yes, there’s even a kids menu so the whole family can find something they like.
But before enjoying the main course, Lovecraft invites you to try a range of appetizers. Their guacamole is amazing, but even better is their Smoked Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos. Stuffed with cream cheese and drizzled with BBQ sauce, the jalapenos are a must order.
But more than just great food, Lovecraft is also a great place to enjoy a nice craft beer. With 31 rotating taps of craft beer, cider, wine and mead, there’s a drink for every taste. Lovecraft also features a cooler filled with cans to go, and growlers can be filled to be enjoyed at home.
As restaurants start to reopen and diners head to eat out, having a local neighborhood spot with great food and drinks is a welcome option. So if you’re looking for a new spot to hang out at, or are ready to return to your favorite, Lovecraft welcomes you in.
