Trippin’ With Mama B: Family Travel Finds

Our family travel series continues with Valley-based boy mom and lifestyle contributor Nadine Bubeck (Mama B.). Every month, Nadine showcases a fabulous destination- providing five things about visiting the hot spot.

To kick off 2020, Nadine’s sharing five new travel finds you’ll want to get your hands on this year, and where it’s best to bring them along.

  1. Potette

Do you love cruising the open road? If you’re all about road-tripping, Potette will become your new BFF. This compact, portable potty is perfect for keeping in your trunk. The 2-in-1 Potette Plus easily converts to a folding potty trainer seat with legs that lock into place when opened. Accompanied by super absorbent, leak-proof, disposable liners, the Potette makes potty training a breeze especially during road-tripping adventures.

Tip: Take the road-trip route less traveled. Instead of choosing cliché destinations, do something out of the norm, like exploring more gem-like areas. Click here to learn about California’s Central Coast.

  1. Cheeky Chompers

If your baby/toddler is in a never-ending teething phase, turn to Cheeky Chompers for stylish relief. The Cheeky Chompers Neckerchew is a glorified bib with an attached teether. The bib is amazingly absorbent, so baby’s clothes don’t get slobbery. Plus, it’s available in different designs for hip little ones.

Tip: Take your teething trendsetters to one of my fave SoCal destinations, Huntington Beach. With tons to do for little ones, they’ll look adorbs sporting their Neckerchews. On where to stay, play, and dine, click here.

  1. Bumkins Travel/Snack Bags

Bumkins just released new, fantastic designs of reusable snack bags flaunting Hello Kitty, Toy Story, and classic Mickey and Minnie.  They’re lightweight, easy to wipe clean, machine washable, and feature heat-sealed seams for true waterproof protection. These bags are ideal for holding anything from Goldfish to wet swimsuits.

Tip: Excellent for airplane travel, bring Bumkins bags on your next in-flight endeavor. Looking for a fab spring break hot spot that’s both family friendly and luxurious? Learn about Cabo’s premiere all-inclusive family resort here.

  1. Globber Scooters

My kids love to scoot- and turns out, I do too! We love “scootering” along beachside boardwalks- and our Scooter brand of choice: Globber. Globbers are foldable, colorful, and high-quality for all ages. There are 3-wheeled scooters for those just learning to ride (my 2-year-old can do it), 2-wheelers for ages 6+, and even an array of options for adults.

Tip: Bring these babies on trips to San Diego! America’s finest city is lined with many paths (Mission Beach, downtown and beyond) for family cruising expeditions. Click here to learn about a property perfect for scooter-loving families.

  1. Ariat Boots

Wrapping things up with a fashion find for those who prefer some Western flare. Ariat Boots are the real deal… with plenty of options for kids and adults, these quality, comfortable, and totally swanky boots are functional for horse-riding adventures and attractive for Instagram opps.

Tip: Indulge in a great Dude Ranch escape! Check out the Tanque Verde Ranch here (and don’t forget your Ariats!).
