In this month’s installment of “Your Table is Ready”, my family and I were given the very cool opportunity to check out Venezia’s Pizzeria in North Phoenix.
Located at on Tatum Blvd. between Greenway and Bell, Venezia’s Pizza is a great family spot! There are a few other valley locations, this one suited our family best. When we arrived, we realized this was a great spot for everyone in the family- something on the menu for all of us to enjoy. The atmosphere was also very lively on a Friday evening, not too loud, but loud enough my kids felt comfortable to be there.
We all ordered something different so we could try out a variety of menu items. We all shared garlic 
bread, which was delicious! My kids each tried out one of their favorites. My older son decided to go with pasta and ordered the spaghetti dish (without meatballs, although that is an option.) My younger son is a big fan of wings and checked out their boneless BBQ wings, which he quickly devoured. Bone in is also an option but he prefers the boneless.
My husband ordered a calzone- which was definitely a large portion. Easily could have been shared but he managed to eat quite a bit of it himself because he said it was so tasty. He did the “build your own” option and was very happy with his decision. I opted for a cauliflower crust pizza, which was quite honestly one of the best cauliflower crusts I’ve tasted yet in the valley. I always am tempted to taste the cauliflower crust when that is an option, sometimes I am disappointed but that was definitely not the case this time.
There are also plenty of beverage options- both non-alcoholic and alcoholic- on the menu as well as plenty of dessert items. We didn’t save room for dessert on this trip but definitely will be headed back to give it one or two of them a try.
Venezia’s Pizza is a great spot for couples, families, sports teams, birthday parties and more! There was plenty of space and once it gets cooler, they have a great patio area as well. Several TV’s around the restaurant as well so during sports season, always games for everyone to watch.
