It’s a new month and that means we checked out a different restaurant in the valley for this edition of Your Table is Ready.
This month we checked out Taco Guild in Central Phoenix, which has a new, updated food & drink menu.
Taco Guild is housed in a historic church circa 1983 that showcases original stained glass windows, wooden beamed ceiling, floor and other original mementos.
This is a great spot for Happy Hour with friends and family, date night, friends night out or family night out! There is something for everyone on this menu. There are new appetizers, four new tacos, new desserts and now more options for guests to customize their dishes.
My husband and I were able to get away and check out the spot for a quick Friday night Happy Hour. The restaurant was full but not packed to the brim, so it was very comfortable for us to sit and enjoy. There were also many families around us, so still a great time for everyone.
We tried out some of the delicious menu items- old and new and were certainly not disappointed. We shared an amazing appetizer- bacon wrapped asparagus, what could be wrong with that?? We also each had some wonderful tacos, which we barely got a picture of because we were so excited to try them out!
I enjoyed an 1893 Margarita on the Rocks and my husband enjoyed one of their tasty craft beers on tap- plenty to choose from. And of course what meal wouldn’t be complete with checking out one of their delicious dessert options!
Taco Guild has been named of the best Mexican restaurants in the country by Travel Channel’s “Food Paradise” Taco Guild serves lunch and dinner during the week, daily happy hour and taco specials, and brunch on the weekends. Taco Guild is located at 546 E. Osborn Road in Phoenix.
