The New Year is here and with it, we are starting a new series called Your Table is Ready. Each month we will feature an area restaurant that is either good for family dining, night out with friends or a date night!
To kick off what we hope will become a regular, monthly series, we visited Giordano’s restaurant in the Arrowhead area. My husband and I took our family on a Sunday night to check out some of the restaurants delicious offerings and we definitely were not disappointed.
To start off, we taste tested a couple of appetizers. Our family tried out the Bruschetta and Cheese Curds. The Bruschetta was a hit with my husband and I, not so much with the kids. However, that is certainly because my kids are picky and aren’t big tomato fans. The adults definitely enjoyed it. The cheese curds were a big hit with everyone, flavorful and plenty to share!
After devouring the appetizers, our family dined on two different pizzas. We tasted the Street Taco Specialty Pizza and an original Pepperoni Pizza. There was plenty for all of us to eat (not to mention plenty of pizza to take home!) There is absolutely plenty of food for any size family, options for everyone. There are only four of us, so it wasn’t necessary for us to get two pizza’s but we wanted to give a different couple of options a try and we were definitely happy with what we got.
Don’t forget to save room for dessert. From tiramisu to the cookie pan skillet and an amazing apple pie, there is something for anyone with a sweet tooth. We shared the Apple Pan Pie and it was flaky, warm, sweet and a big hit with us all.
For those who don’t like pizza or are looking for lighter choices, there are many options on the menu, including several just for the kids.
If you are searching for a great family spot, check out the Giordano’s in your area. We are thankful to the Arrowhead location for allowing us to come in and try out just a small sampling of all they have to offer.
Stay tuned next month to see where our next dining adventure takes us!
