Your table is ready for Date night which it is vital part of any relationship. Getting a chance to enjoy a great meal with your significant other or even a night out with a friend, it is food for your soul! It also helps when that food is delicious!
First off, my family and I checked out CB Live – a great spot in Desert Ridge. While my visit included my family, it is definitely a cool spot for friends or a date night. One side is for performances- a stage for live music or comedians. The other side is a restaurant with a variety of tasty food & drink options.
We enjoyed a few different items on the menu including the Soft Pretzel, Flatbread Pizza, Mac & Cheese and some of the great beers on tap. Everyone on the table loved the soft pretzel and gobbled it up right away! Apparently our eyes were bigger than our stomachs though and none of us were able to completely finish our actual meals. However, no one was unhappy with their food choice and were certainly full and happy when we left. The only thing I would suggest before going is making sure what entertainment may be in the space next door prior to heading over to the restaurant. There could be a full crowd when you arrive if a show is about to start or has just ended on the entertainment side.
If you are looking for something different, perhaps with an amazing view, be sure to check out Toro at the Scottsdale TPC/Scottsdale Princess Hotel. We checked out the spot for a Saturday evening dinner and it was a perfect spot for a great date with my husband.
As for the food, we had a variety. We started with a couple of sushi rolls and let me tell you- do not get out of there without trying their Surf and Turf roll. It was simply out of this world! We also each had a different dish for dinner. I ordered the Snapper and he ordered the Scallops and Pork Belly and of course we had to try the side of Chipotle Pork Belly Mac & Cheese. All of the food was delicious and I’m pretty certain that there wouldn’t have been a bad choice on the menu.
We were celebrating my birthday that evening as well so splurged on a dessert to split- La Bomba.. the Chocolate Bomb! It was a chocolate bowl full of amazing ice creams, sorbets, fresh fruit and sauces. It was simply to die for- but be sure you save room for this one!
Either of these options would be amazing spots for a date night, so be sure to check them out the next time you are looking for a hot spot to try out!
