Simple Meals to Ring in Spring!

Heading into spring can be a hectic change of pace – the weather is warming up, new sports are starting, it’s time to spring clean… As you adjust to the new routines and new temperatures, we suggest keeping a stash of everyday freezer and pantry staples on-hand to help on those busy days when you just need to whip up dinner fast! Plus, not only can these semi-homemade recipes be thrown together in 20 minutes or less, they’ll inspire your kids to get into the kitchen as they’re simple enough for your kids to prepare!

Mandarin Orange Chicken Salad

Mandarin Orange Chicken Salad
• Ingredients
1 box Mandarin Orange Chicken (frozen)
Mandarin Orange sauce (included in box)
1 ½ tablespoons Dijon mustard
¾ teaspoon garlic
1 cup goat cheese
1 cup crushed walnuts
4 Golden Delicious apples
Spinach leaves (enough to fill a large bowl)

• Directions
Bake Mandarin Orange Chicken for 18 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (per cooking instructions on the box).
Thaw Mandarin Orange sauce packet in a bowl of hot water. Set aside.
Once thawed, mix Mandarin Orange sauce in bowl with Dijon mustard and garlic, and stir well. Set aside.
Peel apples, and slice them on large cutting board, removing the core and seeds.
Add spinach leaves to a large bowl. Top with Mandarin Orange Chicken, sliced apples, crushed walnuts and goat cheese.
Drizzle with Mandarin Orange sauce mixture.

Korean BBQ Chicken Tacos

Korean BBQ Chicken Tacos
• Ingredients
1 box Crazy Cuizine Korean BBQ Chicken (frozen)
16 corn tortillas
4 cups finely sliced cabbage
3 cups pico de gallo or another spicy salsa
2 cups sour cream

• Directions
Bake Crazy Cuizine Korean BBQ Chicken for 18 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (per cooking instructions on the box).
One cooked and cooled, cut chicken pieces into slices.
Place chicken, pico de gallo salsa, cabbage and sour cream into warm tortilla.
Serve alongside tortilla chips, rice or beans, and enjoy!

General Tso’s Chicken Wraps

General Tso’s Chicken Wraps
• Ingredients
1 box Crazy Cuizine General Tso’s Chicken (frozen)
General Tso’s sauce (included in box)
8 flour tortillas
3 tomatoes (sliced)
1 small onion (sliced)
Mayonnaise
1 large avocado
1 head of romaine lettuce

• Directions
Bake Crazy Cuizine General Tso’s Chicken for 18 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (per cooking instructions on the box).
Defrost General Tso’s sauce in a large bowl of hot water. Set aside.
Warm the tortillas in the microwave or oven.
Coat each tortilla in a thin layer of mayonnaise, then put small amounts of lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, General Tso’s chicken on to the tortilla.
Drizzle with sauce, then roll into a wrap.
