It’s a simple road-trip via the Valley that will transport you to the wild west of Arizona. Ideal for romancers looking for an escape or families eager to explore nature, this Tucson-area dude ranch will leave you longing for more.
White Stallion Ranch is located on 3,000 acres of pristine Sonoran Desert and bordering two miles of Saguaro National Park West.
Family run for over fifty years, the ranch has been a backdrop for numerous Western films, attracting the attention of esteemed Hollywood producers. Why? Because it’s stunning; yet simple, and packed with plenty of fun things to do.
Upon arrival, the on-site cowboys will help plan your daily itinerary.
First, saddle up. White Stallion Ranch owns one of the largest private herds of horses in Arizona. The extensive riding program accommodates all riding levels, and you’ll journey through picturesque terrain from the beauty of horseback. Secure your spot for the breakfast ride- travel via horseback to the middle of the desert for some early morning grub- home-cooked pancakes, eggs and potatoes.
There’s also an abundance of outdoor activities, including shooting, rock climbing and e-biking. That’s right, shoot alongside your spouse… cowboy-style Henry Yellowboy .22 caliber rifles and Ruger .22 caliber single action pistols. Your instructor guarantees an empowering, safe experience.
The expanded Rock-Climbing program is based on top rope bouldering and top rope single pitch climbing. Climbs are 30′ to 60′ with a range of difficulty for all thrill seekers. And the Radpower Fat Tire E-Bikes is a new way to tour the Ranch at your own speed.
Additional activities include archery, swimming, tennis, petting zoo and more. And if you’re looking for an added adventure, trailblaze through the property and discover the hidden path to the top of Panther Peak. It’s an intermediate hike, but well worth the views.
Most activities and meals are included in your stay; an all-inclusive experience for you and your family. Surely, you’ll get hungry after a day full of fun; vacations at White Stallion are loaded with a variety of dining options.
The ranch boasts home-style recipes to create flavorful meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner often features grilled entrees and ever-changing side dishes. There are delicious desserts and all-day fruit for snacking as well.
White Stallion has a warm, welcoming atmosphere making you feel at home. The 43 guestrooms are charming, flaunting generous floor plans. For your delightful getaway, book a Deluxe Suite, offering the highest level of comfort and luxury on the ranch. Equipped with an outside fireplace, extra bed and living space, these accommodations will let you enjoy the tranquility you crave alongside your entourage. NOTE: there are no TVs… so bring games! And don’t forget to stock your suitcase with cowboy boots.
