Spring has sprung and many of us are heading outdoors for family time. All across the valley, families are looking for fun, entertaining and affordable ways to spend time together outside so they can enjoy the beautiful spring weather before it gets too warm! Look no further!
The Promenade at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and North Scottsdale Road, is getting ready to host their annual Moonlit Drive-In Movie series in April. Every Saturday night festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot near Golden Spoon Yogurt.
Bring the whole family to enjoy all the fun activities the evening has to offer. Better yet, admission is free with a canned food donation to benefit the Harvest Compassion Food Bank.
The movie series offers family-friendly films throughout the month with the schedule as follows:
April 7: Despicable Me 3
April 14: The Lego Batman Movie
April 21: Cars 3
April 28: Coco
“The response to our drive in movie series has been so positive over the years, we just knew we had to bring it back, said Promenade Marketing Manager Brittany Miles. “We look forward to another successful event series.”
All the movies begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be shown on a 32-foot inflatable screen. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets or other portable seating options., whatever helps you feel comfortable. Nostalgic guests are also welcome to watch the film from their cars and take advantage of the authentic “drive-in” feeling.
A balloon twister will be on site between 6:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. offering free balloon animals. Other contests, prizes and activities are planned.
