Valley restaurant Jalapeno Inferno recently opened their newest location in Park West in Peoria, located at Loop 101 and Northern Avenue. With its opening, Jalapeno Inferno has brought its amazing food and drink menu to lucky West Valley diners.
The restaurant features an extensive, and very tasty, menu featuring delicious Mexican-inspired cuisine. We started with their tamale, and as someone who isn’t a big fan, these tasty treats changed my mind. Their tamale is a game-changer. There is so much flavor packed in to every bite, I easily could have ordered several more, made a meal out of it, and been good. There are several other appetizer choices, and one can’t go wrong with any of them.
Heading to the main course, good luck on choosing just one. There are so many great choices, sure to fit any appetite. From fajita’s (the Sea of Cortez is absolutely amazing, and is a personal favorite) to enchilada’s and everything in between, there is so much good to choose from, you’ll be planning your next visit because you won’t be able to order everything at once. And if you want a variety of dishes, Jalapeno Inferno has you covered. Diners are able to make their own combos, choosing from a range of choices to make your perfect meal.
Of course with so much good food, you need a drink to pair it with. Don’t worry, they have it covered. Whether you choose on the rocks, frozen or from the Custom Barrel Program (house blends made just for Jalapeno Inferno), there is a margarita for you. And they are all delicious. From traditional to fruit, spicy or not, if you’re a fan of margarita’s, you will find a new favorite. In addition to margaritas, there are also a variety of other cocktails and beers on draft.
And then there’s dessert. And it’s all amazing. Personal suggestion is the Churro Skillet Special, which are four churros stuffed with caramel and served with chocolate dipping sauce and vanilla ice cream. As a big fan of the churros at Disneyland, I honestly thought I wouldn’t find better churros anywhere. Well, I was wrong, these churros are better. A lot better.
The restaurant also has a great Happy Hour. From 3 to 6 Monday through Friday, all appetizers are half-price and there are some killer drink specials. While any time is a good time to visit, Happy Hour is definitely a great time to visit. a
The West Valley has its share of nationally franchised restaurants. And while those are good, there is something special about visiting a locally owned restaurant like Jalapeno Inferno. From the amazing food, to the great drinks, to their awesome customer service and comfortable environment, this hot spot is a very welcome addition to the West Valley, and a must visit culinary destination.
