Keeping Check of Our Gut Health

During the Holiday, such as Halloween, the Thanksgiving feast and Christmas, we tend to eat more and definitely add more sugar to our diets. Whether you believe it or not, the food we eat can impair our health or make us ill due to harmful chemicals such as added pesticides in the soil, refined and bleached food such as white flour and sugar and also the water we drink and wash with, to name a few.

It is important to be aware of the trillions of bacteria, viruses and fungi that live on and inside of us. We are exposed to unwanted organisms and diseases that our immune system fights against daily. Therefore, we must take care of our immune system with respect and to give it the time of day.

We have to love our immune system that resides in our guts; our digestive system, intestines and colon need all the attention we can give them! Nutrients keep us healthy and alive and their absorption is primordial.

Today, the majority of the population eats with the eyes, if it looks good then people want to eat it, as simple as that. However those additional and higher quantities of food can cause serious damage over time.

Let’s remember with mindfulness the reason why healthy food is a necessity for the cells of our body. We eat food to stay alive not to destroy our health!

You may say “yes, this is all well and good but I want to have fun in life – I enjoy food!!” and I will reply “Absolutely you do, and deserve some fun but what can you do to help yourself stay healthy?” Think of ‘Detoxing’.

How often do you remove toxins from your body? A detox can simply start from drinking some herbal teas or take herbal supplements to having a colon-hydrotherapy. It is time to bring awareness by mentioning that the colon is the most neglected organ in the body – then is becomes the repository of accumulated waste and toxins which disable the body’s purification system. The toxicity ends up re-entering our blood stream and getting deposited in our cells.

What is a Colon Hydrotherapy?

It is simply a gentle rinsing of the colon with warm water, to remove encrusted fecal matter that has been stuck on the walls of the colon, gas and mucus. This allows vital nutrients to be absorbed more easily and leaves you feeling rejuvenated and healthier. Colon Hydrotherapy can also help re-tone & reshape the colon.

This process or therapy is totally natural without using chemicals or drugs.  It is essential for the maintenance of optimal health to have well-functioning bowel daily.

May help with; – Constipation, bloating, gas, indigestion, nausea, protruding abdomen, bad breath, fatigue, headaches, depression, anxiety, insomnia, abdominal discomfort, low back pain, skin problems (blemishes/acne), brittle hair/nails, over/underweight…
