Here in the valley, there are many options for family-friendly displays and one of the most popular is Zoolights. As one of the Valley’s most anticipated holiday light display’s.. this year’s light show is expected to be shining brighter than ever this year!
For the first time ever during ZooLights, the entrance into the SingrayBay and the 4D Theater will be included in the price of ZooLights. The good news keeps comin as well as ZooLights participants will have the opportunity to see and take photos with reindeer! ZooLights organizers are also excited to bring back our 200-foot-long Polar Slide ™. It is an amazing and quick ride down 200 feet of snow tubing excitement.
Phoenix Zoo organizers say there of course will be millions of lights, hundreds of sparkling displays and a new Music-In-Motion show in and around the Zoo’s main lake. Oldies but goodies are still the Zoo’s famous kettle corn, and warm up with a cup of delicious hot chocolate! As an added bonus for guests, there will be the breathtaking and spectacular artwork of Russ Ronat’s Project Holocene lighting up the side of the Zoo’s Savanna Grill. There will also be actual artwork inside the Grill for guests to view. Project Holocene is an international art project that features endangered animal drawings and projected video by artist Russ Ronat. It is the goal of the project to bring attention to endangered species and play a part in inspiring the change that is needed to ensure conservation. You can read more about his collection here.
