After a long winter, it’s time to shine. Spring is about starting fresh and renewed, and that’s what my April facial is all about. As an aesthetician here in the Valley, I like to tell my clients that if you can’t eat it, don’t put it on your skin. I believe in using all-natural, sustainable materials to heal your body.
You don’t have to be tricked into using expensive products. Many of the ingredients sitting in your kitchen cupboard can have powerful healing qualities for your skin, too!
It’s my pleasure to share my exclusive recipe for the “Light Bright Spring Mask.” This blend of organic and Ayurvedic ingredients will brighten everything it touches. These special ingredients bring out the light from within by detoxifying and regulating your skins natural oil production.
Light Bright Spring Mask:
- 1 tsp Coconut Sugar
- 1 tsp Raw Honey/Royal jelly combo (can be found in specialty stores or online)
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Bean Powder
- 1/2 tsp Licorice Powder
- 1/2 tsp Pearl Powder
- Juice of 1/2 Organic Lemon/and or Orange
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and apply to freshly cleansed skin. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry and apply go-to moisturizer.
If you’d prefer to have a professional handle your skincare, I tailor each facial to my clients’ needs, adding various ingredients you will not be able to find at a store or in your kitchen.
