Winter Camps 2017

We are in the process of adding winter camps so be sure to check back on a regular basis as new ones are added.

America’s Baseball Camp
Ages 8-19
December 27-30 (most days are 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)
As a player you will be evaluated by a professional eye and receive hands on, intense baseball training. The goal is to provide you with the tools to better your game, increase your knowledge, skill and confidence and assist in getting you to the next level of play and beyond.
Cost: $535-$839 (depending on camp packages)
Package #1: Day Camp Option (no accommodations)
Package #2: Overnight Staying w/ Parents Option (Hotel room fees not included.)
Package #3: Overnight Staying w/ other Players Option (hotel room included in camp fees)

Arizona Science Center
Camp Innovation:Wild Weather
Grades K-5th
December 27-29 and January 3-5, 2018; 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Learn about thunderstorms, earthquakes, tsunamis, and other natural phenomena! Junior Meteorologists will explore scientific tools such as seismometers, thermometers, and barometers. Design and engineer structures and inventions that can help us predict and withstand the elements of nature. Each winter break session is identical.
Daily Fee: $55 Members, $65 Non–Members
Full Session Fee: $155 Members, $180 Non–Members
Early and late care available: $15/day or $60/week

Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics & Dance
Ages 3-13
December 18-22, 26-29; January 2-6
8:30 a.m.-12:30 or 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Children’s Museum of Phoenix
Polar Express and New Year’s Voyagers
Ages 5-8
December 26-29 and January 2-5, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Campers will navigate the Earth and its two magnetic poles, create their own glaciers, and learn how Earth’s landscape is shaped and ever-changing. In addition, campers will engage in hands-on learning as they travel throughout the Museum’s imaginative exhibits. During New Year’s Voyagers theme, campers will explore the way the New Year is celebrated around the world.
Members: $190/week; Non-Members: $225/week
Early/after care options available.

Desert Foothills Theater
Fair Tale Frenzy
Ages 5-7
January 2-5; 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Cost: $185
Location: Holland Community Center, 34260 N. 60th Street, Scottsdale
What happens when the village storyteller drops their storybooks and the pages scatter in a fairy tale frenzy? You get Snow White and the Three Little Pigs, Peter Pan and his Glass Slipper, Beauty and the Big Bad Wolf. This and more all take place when everyone meets in Humpty Dumpty’s Omelette Shoppe in the heart of downtown Once Upon A Time.

Desert Stages Theater
Ages – 4-12
December 26-December 29; 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
January 2 – January 5; 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Cost: $250 per camper; Friends of Desert Stages: $235 per camper
Young actors participate in a hands-on theatrical experience in a non-competitive, fun environment. Each session covers all aspects of a musical production including auditions, staging and choreography. A typical day includes voice, dance and acting instruction, games and arts and crafts. Each Theatrical Camp session concludes with a FREE performance for family & friends.

Equistar School of Riding
Poles to Novice Jumping
All ability levels welcome.
January 3-5; 8 a.m.-Noon
$200 if riding lesson horse
$175 if riding your own horse
This camp will focus on jumping skills for horse and rider.

Girly Girls Scottsdale
Session 1: December 28 & 29, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Session 2: January 3 & 4, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
$75/girly per session. Tax is already included.
Glam session, crafts, karaoke, games, sweets, and more.

Impact Gymnastics Academy
Ages 3-15
Session 1: December 27-29
Session 2: January 3-5
Full-Day Camp: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Advanced Rate: $60/day or $175/week; Drop-in Rate: $65/day or $195/week
Half-Day Camp: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. or 12 p.m.-3 p.m.
Advanced Rate: $35/day or $100/week; Drop-in Rate: $40/day or $120/week
Extended care available.
Activities include warm up, group games, small group rotations to specific events, team building (small and whole group), we provide one morning snack, crafts, open gym time. Must bring a sack lunch for full day campers.

Phoenix Center for the Arts
Ages 6-12
Session 1: December 27-29;9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Wed-Fri); Theme: Frozen
Session 2: January 3-5; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Wed-Fri); Theme: 2018 Manifesto
Children will receive full-day professional instruction in visual and performing arts. Campers are grouped by age; age groupings may vary based on the age range of enrolled campers.
Early Bird Pricing: $80 by Nov. 27
Regular Price: $95 after Nov. 27
$15 off each additional sibling.
Before and after care available at an additional cost.

Thunderbird Arts Center
Ages 6-12
January 2-5; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Tues-Fri)
Children will receive full-day professional instruction in visual and performing arts. Lunch is not provided.
Early Bird Pricing: $125 by Nov. 27
Regular Price: $150 after Nov. 27
$15 off each additional sibling.
Before and after care available at an additional cost.

Phoenix Herpetological Society
Ages 9-12
December 20-29 & January 5-6; 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Each day camp focuses on a specific group of animals and includes physical activity and art, math, science, and technology-orientated activities. They will also participate in animal care, have special animal interactions, and increase their social awareness and sense of responsibility through conservation discussions and helping the reptiles that call PHS home.
Cost: $75/per day, with a $10 discount on multiple days.
Before and after care option starting at 8 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m.

Phoenix Zoo
Winter Camp Zoo
Grades K-8th grade
December 26-29; 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Each day is filled with age-appropriate learning, up-close animal encounters, hands-on activities, games, in-depth investigations and organized free-time. Campers may attend by the day or sign up for the entire week and experience the entire Zoo. Each day has a specific focus/topic.
Daily Fee: $55 Members, $60 Non-Members
Full Session Fee: $200 Members, $220 Non-Members
Extended Day Camp runs until 6 p.m. for an extra fee.

Spotlight Youth Theatre
Ages 6-18
December 26-January 5; 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Cost: $225
Participants will learn and perform a show, as well as make costumes and sets for the show.

UCYC Winter Camps
2018 Junior High & High School Winter Camp
High School Age: December 1-3
Junior High Age: January 19-21, 2018 & January 26-28, 2018
Camper fee: $129, includes program materials, 4 meals, 2 nights housing, and fun activities.
At UCYC winter camp, you will look at a person who had a ton of stuff to overcome. Loses everything, is completely alone, and yet finds a way through hardships to follow and experience God in real-life ways.

2018 Preteen Winter Camp
Grades 4th-6th
At UCYC, you will explore the story of one ordinary person and their “mountaintop experiences”. It’s a story of bravery, trust, doubts and fears that has the potential to invite you to climb the mountains of life with new courage and power.
February 2-4, 2018 & February 9-11, 2018
Camper fee: $119, includes program materials, 4 meals, 2 nights housing, and fun activities.
