It feels like summer just started, but here I am writing about school. Why we go back in the heat of summer is beyond me, but I guess it’s nice to feel that fall is creeping closer.
White Elfa Playroom & Kids’ Coloring Table
If you have multiple young kids, finding the perfect “mini desk” can be challenging. That’s why I love this multi-purpose table from the Container Store. The versatile concoction gives two kids their own dedicated work-space, alongside mesh drawer units providing easy-to-reach access to supplies. It’s an ideal solution for maximizing storage space, and it can be configured to fit your needs.
My oldest is starting Kindergarten. We’ll probably shed equal tears- overwhelmed by mixed emotions. I’m all about natural remedies, and Oilogic recently debuted something quite intriguing: essential oils aimed at easing potential anxiety. The new Relax & Calm Essential Oil Roll-on is a 100% safe pure essential blend, diluted for kids 2+. When applied to the back of the neck or behind the ears, kids have found a refreshed sense of calm, taking in oils from oranges, chamomile, geranium and bergamot.
Crazy Cart Shift
Raise your hand if your kid seems to have half days ALL THE TIME. Yep, me too. To beat after school boredom, gift kids 6+ the ride of their life, from the comfort of home. Razor’s new Crazy Cart Shift is awesome, letting kids drive, spin and drift like no other. Designed for all skill-levels, this fab ride starts as a fun spin session and grows into an unparalleled drifting experience as riders become more familiar with the controls. The Crazy Cart Shift is powered by Razor’s patented Power Core™ hub motor technology – a maintenance-free drivetrain system that is both powerful and efficient.
I promised no backpack critiques, but I will shout-out my newfound choice of lunchbox. After going through a bunch of lunch sacks and not loving any, I’ve finally met my kids’ new foodie BFF: The Bentology Deluxe Tote Kit. Surrender buying individual containers, ice packs and beyond… Bentology offers affordable packages flaunting all your needs: an insulated lunch tote, bento set, and cool pack. The lunch tote has plenty of food/drink storage, and comfortably fits the Bento Set: 5 leak-resistant lidded containers (microwave AND dishwasher safe). Plus, the reusable cool gel stays cool and has its own place within the tote.
