7 Fall Finds for Kids

As we dive into fall, it’s time to surround kids, with positive, fun and functional virtual learning essentials.

Here are seven of Mama B’s, better known as Nadine Bubeck, favorite things that keep kiddos busy (while you take a moment to breathe!)

While it’s still hot, much of our “recess” is indoors. My kids absolutely love Plus Plus STEM toys; challenge them to this innovative construction toy. Their single-shape model contains endless possibilities and hours of fun. Each piece easily connects to the next and lets your imagination create colorful flat mosaics or 3-D creations. You can create your own concoction or follow instructions to build things like a firetruck

Many schools have music class… so take it a step further at home. Loog Guitars offers guitars designed to make learning the guitar fun and easy. Their 3-string Mini guitar is a great, basic starter with an accompanying app and flashcards. There are also more advanced guitars for older kids (and with 5 strings).

For your little artist, this easel from Little Partners has a chalkboard, magnetic dry erase board, and parchment paper feeder, allowing your creator to express their creative side. Beautiful and modern, it also contains storage bins for art supplies. I like to use it for morning messages to my kids and “mom lessons.”

Do PE in style by gifting your kids a new bike. Six three Zero is my favorite brand of glorified cruisers; they’re casual, comfortable and totally low maintenance. Available in many colors, this bike features a sleek look and simple, single gear design- making coasting a breeze.

Teach your kids something they won’t learn in the classroom- to embrace entrepreneurship.
Kidpreneurs.org teaches kids 6-12 the basic principles of creating and owning your own business… and they have a great digital experience for users. Through the online program, kids can access an online, printable book; the audio book; and other materials to help inspire entrepreneurship.

Store school stuff and sit in style with this storage stool from ActiveChairs.com. This Kids Stool Organizer lets you keep things organized and doubles as a themed stool. A colorful, functional add to any at home classroom and affordable… around $20

For rooms up to 650 sq ft, create a safe and healthy breathing space for your family. AirFree is the natural solution to asthma, respiratory allergies and mold. Eliminates dust mites, bacteria, fungi, virus, pollen, allergens of domestic animals and other microorganisms from the air. AirFree’s exclusive technology is completely silent and does not require any filters or maintenance.
